Thanks to the likes of Buck Owens and Merle Haggard, Bakersfield has long played an important part in country music. This disc features some of the new generation. A few of the artists (like Rosie Flores and Katy Moffatt) have been around for a long time but have never received the recognition they deserve. The variety of styles on this disc ensure that there is something for everyone.
