Who can forget classics like "The Hockey Song", "Sudbury Saturday Night", "Big Joe Mufferaw" and countless others. His constant battle to be recognized by the music industry in Canada frustrated Stompin' Tom so much that he returned his Junos Awards. Many radio stations did not play his songs as he accused the industry of Americanizing the Canadian music industry. You can bet those same stations are playing classic Stompin' Tom today in tribute.

McCready's life seemed to take a downward spiral following the recent death of her boyfriend David Wilson, who died in January of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. His death is still under investigation. Wilson was the father of McCready's youngest son, Zayne, who was born on April 9th, 2012.
Mindy was released from rehab last week, but her ...

Farm Survey Link

Dr. Deborah Stiles and others from the Rural Research Centre at the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus in Bible Hill have put together a survey. It's for farmers 18-40 looking for funding or have aquired funding for a farm start-up or to purchase a farm. They want to hear from you.
