I had a great week last week full of kittens at the SPCA, fun at the Maitland Fire Hall Fun Day and sunshine at Victoria Park. There is even more coming up this week! I can't wait.
On Thursday, I'll be heading to New Glasgow to hang out downtown and maybe even stop by the beach! I hope the good weather we had on the weekend comes back. Keep an eye out for my cruiser, because I'll have lots of cold drinks in the trunk.
Then on Friday, I'll be back in Truro, heading to the Glooscap Heritage Centre for National Aboriginal Day! There will be so many of fun things to do there to celebrate. The people here are great and I have the best job ever. I’ve already been to a wide variety of events in my first week and have only messed up on air a few times... I’m hoping the frequency of those will decrease soon!
Tim Horton’s Camp Day was Wednesday, June 5th, and I travelled all over Truro, Pictou County and Stewiacke in the cruiser. I hit nine Tim Horton’s and joined in on all the fun during the day. I’ve also been supporting festivals, fundraisers, a horse show and a Special Olympics swim meet!
