The House That Carrie & Mike Built

Back when Mike Fisher played for the Ottawa Senators, he and his wife Carrie Underwood decided to build a house just outside of Ottawa. Well, Mike got traded to Nashville so the house got left behind. It’s now up for sale with the asking price 2.2 million dollars. Thanks to modern selling tactics here’s what their former home looked like:

A German beer company has made a beer bottle that plays music. It works like a vinyl record. There are grooves imprinted on the bottle, and when you run a needle across it the bottle plays you a song. Can you imagine walking into someone’s den and seeing music collection made up of beer bottles?

Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert call Oklahoma home. It’s no surprise they were very concerned when a tornado went through Moore Oklahoma on Monday. Last night on The Voice, Coach Blake, brought in Miranda to perform Over You in support of relief efforts for those affected by the tornado.

Dierks Bentley on the Death of George Jones

As the music world prepares to say good bye to George Jones at a public funeral on May 2nd, Dierks Bentley has written an article for CNN about his friend George Jones.

 In it he states he is disappointed in himself for not going to see George when he was admitted to hospital. Dierks also says if you can’t appreciate Jones, you can’t appreciate Country Music.

“If you aren't able to fully hear and appreciate George Jones' voice, you really can't fully appreciate country music. His voice opens up country music's depth and power.”
