NFL Picks
The first NFL Sunday of the season is upon us, which means it's time to make some predictions that I'll sit back and laugh at by January.
New England remains the class of the AFC, and with so many weapons at his disposal I just don't see how Tom Brady doesn't lead the Pats to the Super Bowl. Baltimore could make things interesting, but unless Joe Flacco decides he's an elite quarterback, the age of the defence should finally start showing up. I hope I'm wrong because I'm a huge fan of Ray Lewis, Ed Reed and the rest of the Ravens D.
In the NFC, can anyone pick against Green Bay with a straight face? Exactly. The Giants are always a dark horse if they get in and the 49ers (my favourite team) were so close to making the Super Bowl last year. Still, Aaron Rodgers will be on a mission this year.
Here we go with the playoff teams:
AFC East - New England
AFC North - Baltimore
AFC South - Houston
AFC West - Denver
AFC Wild Cards - Buffalo, Cincinnati
NFC East - NY Giants
NFC North - Green Bay
NFC South - Atlanta
NFC West - San Francisco
NFC Wild Cards - Seattle, Philadelphia
In the Super Bowl, I have Green Bay over New England. Are you ready for some football (and Pro Line losses)? I am. Hopefully not the Pro Line losses, but let's be at least a little realistic here.
