Pirates, teddy bears and firemen in drag
It's a lot of fun being asked to take part in local community events, so, I had a TON of fun at the Teddy Bear Picnic and Firemen's Fashion Show at the Noel Fire Hall.
A pretty friendly pirate stopped by to entertain the kids before the Teddy Bear Picnic:
When it came time for the picnic, there were SO many bears to choose from, and it was pretty tough for the judges to come up with the six winners. But, we did, so a big congrats to Mackenzie and her magician bear for winning "Oldest" bear; Ally's brown bear was by far the "Biggest"; Megan once again had the "Smallest" teddy bear; "Most Original" bear went to Douglas, who brought a frog; Ainslie's beach babe bikni bear was "Funniest"; and Britney had the "Prettiest" bear -- a Christmas bear that lit up! All the kids had great bears, and everyone got a ribbon for taking part:

After some grub, it was time for the Firemen's Fashion Show, featuring six "ladies":

"Busty Dusty" is missing from the pic -- "Busty", also known as East Hants Councillor Wayne Greene, was probably still flirting with the crowd. Let's just say "Busty" certainly lived up to her name.
**FYI: The "lady" in the middle is a member of the Truro Police Service -- "Gregoria Densmore" made quite a splash with "her" fabulous pantsuit**
Well, the judges had another tough decision to make, but, in the end, the judges went with "Kei-sha" (a.k.a. East Hants Councillor Keith Rhyno):

Big thanks to the Ladies' Auxillary for letting me be part of the fun!!
**Sorry for the tiny pics -- silly phone!**
