If You Wanna Be Happy....
If you’re not happy right now, what’s the deal? What’s stopping you from being happy today? Here are some things that derail many of us, when happiness is really not that hard to achieve:
Playing the waiting game – Just waiting around for good things to happen and not doing anything about it will make you feel powerless and weak.
Being affected by others – Don’t count on others to make you happy. If there are negative people in your life, wish them well and be happy anyway.
Being ungrateful – Choose to see the world through grateful eyes; it will never look the same again.
Holding a grudge – You can waste a lot of your life hold onto long-term anger, and miss out on a lot of awesome happy moments.
Disrespecting others – Treat people the way you want to be treated. There’s no escaping it. You will get what you give.
Being a control freak – Life is messy. Relax and commit to being happy even when things don’t shake out your way.
